กล้วยไม้ดิน ลำต้นสั้นและแตกกอ ใบ รูปขอบขนาน กว้าง 2-2.5 ซม. ยาว 12-15 ซม. ผิวใบด้านล่างมีประสีม่วงกระจาย ดอก เดี่ยว บานเต็มที่กว้าง 5-7 ซม. ก้านดอกสีม่วงคล้ำ ยาว 12-15 ซม. มีขนสั้น กลีบบนแผ่กว้างเกือบกลม สีชมพูอมม่วง สานเป็นลายร่างแห กลีบดอกรูปขอบขนาน สีน้ำตาลอมเหลือง และมีเส้นสีน้ำตาลแดง สานเป็นลายตามยาว กลีบกระเป๋าเป็นถุงลึก สีน้ำตาลแดง
Sympodial terrestrial orchid. Leaves strap-shaped, 12 - 15 cm long, 2 - 2.5 cm wide. Flowers erect solitary, 5 - 7 cm across, peduncle hairy, 12 - 15 cm long, green with purple dots, median sepal sub-rounded, purplish-pink, purple reticular markings, petals narrow oblong, yellowish brown with reddish-brown reticular marking, lip pouch-shaped, reddish brown.
พบขึ้นบนเขาหินปูน ตามชายแดนไทย-เมียนมาร์ ทางภาคเหนือ ที่ระดับความสูง 1,200-1,700 เมตร ออกดอกช่วงเดือนสิงหาคม-ธันวาคม
S China and Myanmar: Limestone Mountain in the north along Thailand - Myanmar border at 1,200 - 1,700 m alt., blooming in August - December.
